Mark is originally from Dubuque, Iowa and has lived in Iowa City since 1976. He started out with a career in radio, then became a licensed realtor in 1984. He uses his extensive knowledge of the Johnson County market and community to give his clients the edge when selling or buying. He provides loyal, personalized service to all of his clients, and feels honored to have helped them in finding new homes, many of them on multiple occasions and even generations within the same family.
Mark is a former two-time President of the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors (ICAAR), is currently serving as the Past President of the Iowa Association of Realtors (IAR), and has received many awards from the ICAAR for his leadership in the community. He has also earned membership in the Coldwell Banker International President's Elite or President's Circle since 2000 - awarded to the top 6% Coldwell Banker sales associates in 2015. Mark was named Realtor of the Year in 1995 and 2016.
His personal assistant and wife, Angela Hodges, is originally from Lexington, Kentucky and moved to Iowa City in 1999. She began her career in health care marketing, then earned her real estate license in 2002. She is a Certified Marketing Specialist and brings more than 25 years of practical marketing experience to the team.
